Leveling out a floor may seem like a long and extensive process, but we have an easy three-step procedure that will have this job done in no time.
Recently we received an inquiry from a client who was looking to level out their warehouse floor. We completed this request with the following process:
- Scarify: This process is done with a scarifier machine that tears up the surface of the concrete. It includes a cutting tool that rotates at high speeds, cutting the top level of the concrete.
- Scrape: We remove existing materials from the surface with PCD scrapers on our 1200 lb Planetary Grinders.
- Grind: Grinding is a great way to remove the coating and leaves the warehouse floor smooth and even. We grind the surface of the concrete floor with industrial diamonds. This step starts with 40-grit metal bond diamonds, followed by 80 grit, then 120 grit, to reveal a stain-free surface.
