How do we polish concrete floors?

  1. We grind the surface of the concrete floor with industrial diamonds, starting with 40-grit metal bond diamonds, followed by 80 grit, then 120 grit, to reveal a pristine, stain-free surface.
  2. We densify and harden the concrete surface by using a penetrating liquid Lithium Silicate hardener, which reacts with the concrete to produce insoluble calcium silicate hydrate within the concrete pores. If the client has requested a color finish, we begin the process of staining the concrete. We offer a variety of concrete color options.
  3. Then, we continue grinding the surface with resin-bond diamonds. Depending on the customers choice, we can stop at 400 grit or continue our way up to 800, 1500 and 3000 grit diamonds.
  4. Finally, we seal the floor with a concrete sealer that provides improved surface sheen and stain protection.
